Shelly A. Burns- Director of Operations

  • Shelly Burns is originally from Buffalo N.Y. and lives in the Lake Norman area of Mooresville NC. Shelly has three beautiful children and a wonderful husband who helps and supports her.

  • Shelly has served in the Senior Health and Wellness field for over 13 years. She started her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant providing personal care to individuals with disabilities and health conditions at home.


  • She later served as the Alzheimer's and Dementia Care Coordinator at the Ranson Ridge Senior Living Community in Huntersville NC. She was very proud to be apart of establishing and organizing their very first Memory Care program and being apart of their grand opening celebration.  


  • Shelly has worked with multiple well known Senior Communities as their Independent and Assisted Living Life Enrichment Director serving the Emmeritus, Brookdale and Atria Senior Living communities.  


  • Shelly is known for her special community events raising lot's of money and collecting needed items for several organizations like The Alzheimer's Association, The Humane Society, welcome Home Veterans Coffee Shop, The Charlotte Homeless Shelter and so many others. 


  • Her collaboration and partnership with local therapists, senior support groups, health educators and physicians helped to bring needed resources and support to her seniors to live healthy lifestyles.

  

  • Shelly manages her team and makes sure everyone that works alongside her has a genuine love for the senior community. She is absolutely in love with what she does and looks forward to helping support as many individuals in need of homecare as she possibly can.

Tarsha Medley-McBride, MSN RN is an accomplished healthcare executive, nursing leader, and entrepreneur with extensive experience in critical care, trauma, long-term acute care, long-term care, Group Home Start up, Home Care Supervision/Start up, and nursing education. With more than two decades of nursing experience, she brings a strong combination of clinical expertise, leadership, operational management, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.

As the CEO of T and T Healthcare, PLLC, Tarsha provides strategic leadership and oversight for healthcare operations while focusing on quality care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and organizational growth. Her leadership approach emphasizes professionalism, accountability, compassionate care, and the development of high-performing healthcare teams.

Throughout her nursing career, Tarsha has gained extensive experience in critical care environments, including Medical Intensive Care Units, Neurosurgical Intensive Care Units, Cardiac Critical Care Units, and Level II Trauma settings. Her diverse clinical background has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of complex patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, quality improvement, and healthcare performance management.

Tarsha holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nursing Leadership and Administration, equipping her with advanced knowledge in healthcare leadership, organizational management, strategic planning, and quality improvement. She is also committed to advancing the nursing profession through education, mentorship, and professional development.

Her professional credentials include certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). She also serves as a BLS Instructor and Medication Aide Instructor and Nursing Professor, demonstrating her dedication to developing and educating future healthcare professionals.

With a career built on clinical excellence, leadership, education, and entrepreneurship, Tarsha Medley-McBride continues to make meaningful contributions to healthcare organizations and the communities they serve. She is passionate about creating effective healthcare systems, empowering healthcare professionals, promoting quality and safety, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
